EDUCATION - CONSERVATION - SUSTAINABILITY
About Us
Respect Earth’s Resources is a woman owned L.L.C.
founded in November 2009 and established in January 2010
to assist businesses, non-profits and schools obtain
grant funding for environmental projects.
For More Information
One of the challenges faced by many organizations that have a desire to improve our community through an environmental project or program is a lack of funding. We understand the importance of financial support, and want to help your organization implement environmentally sustainable practices and programs by applying for eligible grants.
Although money is important in helping fund environmental projects, we believe that education is critical. Without education, people do not understand how the health of the environment affects their everyday life. Many people are so disconnected from the environment that they do not understand that our environment, and natural resources, are what sustain our livelihoods. Food, water, air, land, oil, gasoline, and the energy we use on a daily basis for electricity are all derived from nature. Our desire is to help our community understand the importance of managing our natural resources wisely by raising awareness through environmental education programs.
MISSION STATEMENT
Respect Earth’s Resources mission is to help businesses, non-profits and schools obtain grant funding for their environmental and conservation projects that benefit the community socially and economically. Besides this, we believe that education is the key to solving our environmental issues. We promote, teach and encourage environmental education programs that raise awareness through fun and interactive education programs.
Our founder
The founder, Christina Ritter, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Maryville University. She has led many conservation and environmental programs for groups including schools. In addition, her most recent accomplishment was writing a
substantial grant through the St. Louis Jefferson Solid Waste
District for a small business in Pevely to help them expand their
recycling program.

Christina's passion for conservation and the environment has called her to help others learn how they can take simple steps to improve the health of our environment and to consider how their choices effect the environment. She plans to help others by using skills to write grant proposals with an environmental, conservation and education focus. In addition, she provides environmental education consulting and services.
Respect Earth's Resources believes that everyone including students, teachers, principals, religious leaders, businesses, individuals and the general public can take small steps to improve the health of our planet which in turn, improves the health of people. Everyone in every walk of life and across the planet desires clean air, clean water and a healthy planet. We must all work together to make this happen, and we cannot continue to ignore how each one of us is responsible for making improvements on how we use our natural resources. When we all work together, we will begin to notice changes in attitude that can change the world!
